Cyclocross?

If I enter a cyclocross race do I have to pick up my bike and walk over the trail obstacles, Or can I just Ride over them as if I were on my mtb. Yes I know that this could damage my wheels, and yes I am skilled enough to ride over small log obstacles.

I say If you can do it go for It. You can always buy a new wheel set.
