Can you use warm/hot water and soap to clean a Roto Grip Riot bowling ball?

I have an old Storm ball that I've done this with and it seems to work well for getting oil out of it...I wasn't sure if this would be a safe thing to do with the Riot and its coverstock...Any suggestions would be appreciated :)

Yes, with that reactive coverstock, you sure can. I fill my kitchen sink with warm water mixed with dish soap. Let it soak for a couple of hours if possible, rotating it a couple times so the entire surface gets cleaned. Remove the ball and dry it thoroughly
